Disclaimer: due to the complexity of adding and managing eLearning content within lessons, it is advised to coordinate managing lessons with the HWapps Account Service Team.
For online trainings, multimedia and learning content is uploaded to the LMS in the form of a lesson. A lesson is a sub-unit of a course and is assigned to a course shell. Before you can assign a lesson to a course shell, you need to create the course shell. Course shells for online trainings can have any number of lessons – there is no limit.
Multimedia is usually embedded within lessons; videos and eLearning modules are the most common types of content embedded within a lesson.
To add a lesson, visit the OCH Admin backend dashboard by hovering over the “Home” icon and selecting “Dashboard.” Once on the backend, hover over “Trainings” and select “Lessons.”
Once you are in the lesson tool, you can add or edit lessons by clicking “Add New,” or hovering over an existing lesson and selecting “Edit.” When creating a new lesson, you will see various media options. Follow the steps below for uploading specific media options.
Step 1) Enter a title for the lesson
Step 2) Select Zip Content Import Here
Step 3) Set the width to 100 and the height to 800 (you can change according to how large the module is)
