To improve care and reduce avoidable hospitalizations for Medicaid and uninsured patients across New York City, we are:
Expanding access to primary and preventive care
Breaking down gaps between providers and services
Redesigning clinical, IT, and population health efforts
The Importance of a Well-Trained Workforce in Achieving Healthcare Transformation
For OneCity Health to succeed, it is critical to adequately prepare the workforce through training and development services. These services will enable our partners and their employees to improve the quality of services delivered and develop a shared understanding of evidence-based best practices, standard tools and workflows, program implementation objectives, and transformation goals. In other words, we want to give workers the tools they need to better understand and implement the various changes taking place.
Our in-person and online training offerings span primary care, care management, cultural competence, professional development, communication and customer service, and much more.

Our Team
The OneCity Health Workforce and Training Team helps prepare the PPS workforce to meet the goals of healthcare transformation by coordinating and delivering trainings and technical assistance efforts on behalf of our PPS partners.
