Description

New York City Health + Hospital’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion has created web-based trainings in collaboration with a number of organizations with subject-matter expertise to raise awareness and build skills to promote diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with patients, co-workers, and community members.

Courses will offer participants information and skills to expand knowledge and application of best practices to support the provision of person-centered, culturally responsive services and promote respectful encounters.

Deepen your awareness on the topics of diversity and inclusion by learning about cross-cultural and effective communication, cultural competence, proactively addressing unconscious biases, and fostering inclusive, welcoming environments to serve diverse populations in New York City.
