Primary Care & Population Health Grand Rounds

Description

NYC Health + Hospitals / OneCity Health’s Office of Population Health launched web-based Primary Care & Population Health Grand Rounds (Grand Rounds) in 2018 with the goal of improving the knowledge of our medical providers across our PPS system. Geared towards NYC Health + Hospitals physicians and nurses, as well as OneCity Health primary care partners, these monthly sessions are being broadcast as live webinars and cover topics ranging from effectively treating obesity to offering buprenorphine treatment.

The Ground Rounds forum enables OneCity Health to simultaneously educate primary care providers across all sites in our Performing Provider System (PPS). Our aim is to provide high quality, practical education with a focus on topics that are integral to primary care. We view this as an important step in enhancing care across both NYC Health + Hospitals and our PPS.

Grand Rounds attendees will be eligible to earn continuing medical education (CME) and continuing nurse education (CNE) credits. Moreover, for those who cannot attend the live presentation, the sessions will be posted to view at a later date, with CME, CNE, and CSWE credits available within 30 days from the posted date.
